What does the CH replacement box on PoolCalculator.com mean?

Sorry if this has been answered before. I searched the forums and couldn't find anything. It comes with the number 300 in it. Do I leave that number there? Do I put a different number in? If so, what number?
Thanks in advance.

TFP has the PoolMath app. I suggest you download that and then we can assist you.

Oh goodness, thank you! I have that app but was confused which one was associated with this site. After looking at the app I do have a question. I believe I have read on here that CH should be at a minimum of 120. (I have read so much info that I may have it jumbled up in my brain on where I've read it, though.) On the app, it suggests a range of 350-550. Which target should I be shooting for? If it helps, I just refilled the tub to start over and the PH is 7.6, Alk is 50 and CH is 60.
Many thanks and I hope this isn't too confusing.

What type of pool are we discussing?

The app is primarily for pools.

CH of 100 is all you need for a hot tub yo prevent foaming of the water.
