My S200 is three years old and has spent most of that time in the pool. I’ve been having an issue with it not climbing the walls well and the cord twisting up. The climbing issue may be due to the problem with the swivel getting stuck. I took the swivel apart, cleaned it out, and lubed the bushings. This didn’t really help as it’s still pretty stiff. It seems like the cord or the bushing have awoken over the years. Is the only
I have a vinyl pool so the soft sides are pretty easy on the tracks. My S200 does not have climbing rings, I’m not sure if that model ever came with them. Any idea how to gauge when the tracks and brushes need to be replaced on an S200?

Thanks for the help, our S200 has been great with the only issue that it gets stuck on the pool drains.

It does not look like anyone is tuning up their Dolphin S200.

If you do some things to get it going again a report would be appreciated.

A month behind but, I was having same problem of not climbing well, thought it was motor going bad, the read about cleaning the impeller and it worked, so clean the impeller, Here is a video to show you how, depending on age and model there are some slight differences, I found a different video made by a customer that I think did a better job if you have to remove the impeller shroud, it is 4 more screws, I am able to remove my impeller the way they showed in this video. Also if you have a swivel it is a little more difficult to pull the rubber grommet out of the top cover, the cord does not slide through as shown, I actually do not remove the gromet from the cover, I can just lift it to remove the "second top plate" as described in video and can remove the impeller the way they show. After I learned and understood the 1st time it only takes me 5 min to do it and I now inspect it regularly and clean if I only feel a few hairs on it. Hope this helps sorry it was so long ago just did not see the post until today.
