What bugs are these and how do I eliminate them?

2 types it seems

Small ones that are very “jumpy”’and about 2/3 size of a pinky nail or smaller. They congregate toward top 1/3 of depth near the walls.

Larger ones with rigid shells/backs. They swim around more but not friendly.

Your post is now deleted but they large one does appear to align with the larger bug I have.
If I correctly read online, it says to add 1/8 cup of dish soap for every 10k gallons of pool capacity.

Any further tips?

Any idea on the smaller bug? is it a baby version of the larger one??
