wet edge: serene mist, serenity stone. Anyone seen it? New warranty

We have had massive delays in pool construction, and were going to go with pebbletec ocean blue, but pebbletec installers are WAY behind in Atlanta and we are ready for pebble.

Our PB has used wet edge a bunch, and we are considering Serenity Stone, color Serene Mist. HAs glass beads, we like the color.

Anyone have pictures of it or seen it in person?

On a positive note, apparently Wet Edge is now offering lifetime warranty on Signature matrix, and I think serenity stone. I have yet to confirm but thats what my PB has told me he just heard.

I looked up an example and man that color is pretty!!! SO rich looking!

I would want to see the lifetime warranty in writing and read through it REAL good. What "rules" do they have to maintain the warranty? Weekly testing at a pool store? Will they accept home testing with a good test kit? What kind of water balance will they want you to maintain?

Get all the details of any “Lifetime Warranty “ you are counting on. Does that include materials? Labor? Are they warranteeing installation issues?

YEs warranty looks to be a bit suspect. "Professional water testing" monthly with records maintained. Thats BS....Im gonna maintain itself. I fired my last pool service after going behind them and checking, they absolutely did nothing and thats how I found this site years ago.

Do not get it for the warranty. Get what you like in terms of color and GREAT installers. That is the most important thing for plaster-the installers! They can make or break a plaster job!

So our installer does not like serenity stone. Says its too much a mix of bigger stone and smaller stone. He loves signature matrix. On wet Edge's site it says npt every installer is trained in serenity stone, which tells me its more complicated to install..

If your installer is telling you he does not know that his installers could do a good job with the serenity stone. My guess is they have tried it and did not have very good results.

Now this is just me "reading between the lines" or using my gut but my guy has guided me well in life so.................

He “loves” the signature matrix probably because Wet Edge is discontinuing it from what I heard and he needs to get rid of it!! My take, if you want SMOOTH like plaster but pebble look get the Wer Edge higher end Primera Stone “Treasure” series. Has the beads and abalone shell. Love it

I dont think wet edge is discontinuing signature matrix, its there new line as of 2018 I believe its a mix of larger and smaller pebbles.
They are discontinuing a couple other of their lines.
