Weird stains that won't come up!!

I have these weird stains on the bottom of the pool surrounding the deep end and they will not come up with a brush, no matter how hard scrub! I tried using a stain away product, but had no luck. Could anybody help me or have a similar situation?

Looks like copper or maybe iron staining.

Don't begin tossing magic potions into the water until you are sure you know the source of the stain.
