Weird split water fall through sheer

So since opening my pool this year I've had this happen with one of the sheers:



Can't figure out how to get it to flow properly. Tried cleaning the front with my pool brush but nada.

Is there a way to clean these out somehow?

Mine does that all the time. Your sheers should have come with a metal cleaning tool. Try scrubbing the opening as well. Might be a stone in there.

Can you take a picture of the tool? Pool guy left nothing and I don't use him anymore as he wasn't very helpful or responsive.

That is it but it is just a thin sheet of metal. You could use just about anything.

Don't hammer it in, but use it to "sweep" any debris stuck out of the way.
