WaterGuru in a hot tub?

Does anyone have a water guru and use it for a hot tub? I know it's meant for a pool skimmer, but my tub has a large skimmer. I would have to think of a way to modify it but it could work I think?

My only real concern would be the incredibly high humidity environment in a hot tub skimmer. You would essentially be steaming the thing 24/7. If the unit can hold up to that for long then it is quite a well built device.

Just an FYI, I emailed the company and they said NO, not at this time.
