Water temperature is 0

But it's almost 100 out there and the pool ducky says the water is almost 90.
My computer is saying different, the worst it says, cell is doing nothing; check cell, check salt, 35 volts at 0 amps, even though, the computer says it's superchlorinating and and shows 99p.
Chemistry and salt are fair, pool turned green yesterday and after adding chlorine and cleaning cell, looks better, some green spots on bottom.
I tested the water directly from the return hole, so I assume that tests the water returning from the filter, rather the whole pool water.
Any ideas? I suspect computer is broke again.

I'm sorry, but all that is in my sig. I'm running 4 hrs. in the morning and 4 hrs. in the afternoon, both at medium speed.

I suspect your NC-40 cell is depleted. You cannot test it like you can with a genuine Hayward cell that a Pool Store can test.

I'm sorry, I did not mean to offend anyone, I just thought you were asking for a specific model, I'm clueless on this stuff. If the cell is depleted, why is it producing chlorine? Or is it a false reading? In regards to the readings, I'll do it tomorrow after it's running for a bit, it's off now for the rest of the night. I'll reply than. BTW shouldn't the first part of the list of questions/readings NOT say check readings? It says to turn it off, then the second one says turn back on to auto.

Hmmmm, interesting. That's what was recommended by my local pool store professional.

You get diagnostic readings when the cell is off. “Check readings” means press the button and record what is displayed.

Then do it in AUTO.

Then do it again when OFF then AUTO.

Three times, three sets of diagnostic readings.
