I have a gunite pool and spa the last time I had it resurface the pool man took the Valve in the wall between my pool and spa that equalizes the water and filled it in ,what should I do and is there any place I can purchase something to reinstall that. He advised me they no longer use those in to just adjust the valve on my pool so that the water flows over the top

Show us pictures of your spa and pool and where that filled in valve was.

It was located in the front between the pool and the spa all the jets are inside all it did was regulate the water between the Pool and spa to keep the water equal. There is a drain and the pool and a drain in the spa the water from the The spa is not heated and has a overflow water into the pool. The last person that resurfaced my pool removed it and covered it over said they no longer use so anymore.

I also called the pool company that installed my pool and said they no longer make those anymore. It was nothing more than a piece of plastic between the pool and spa with a brass connector it would opening and close in either direction. It was a very simple part

1230,

Most new pool with spas are designed so that the Spa spills over into the pool.. This is what keeps the water in the spa fresh.

Is your Spa higher than the Pool?

Does your spa currently spillover into the pool?

Show us several pics of your equipment pad.

Why do you think you need to replace the part that was removed??

What is happening now that you do not like?

Thanks,

Jim R.
