Hello!
I’m still pretty new here as my pool was just finished being installed MDW. This week we started with the pavers.

I have been working to get my water chemistry in line and was finally in a really good spot. It was crystal clear and the levels were in line.

The installers told me that today while installing the coping in my pool that some cement fell in and that was common. The water is very cloudy. I’m thinking that a ton of RCA dust from the base of the paving blew in the pool. I’m afraid to test my levels…

My plan is to run my filter round the clock. Is this a good idea? Will my SWG produce too much chlorine? I turned down the output to 25%. I am also running the robot vaccuum on repeat. Is there anything else that anyone thinks I should be doing?

Thanks!

Sounds like what you are doing is for the best. Just have to get out the solids.

Test your FC daily and adjust as necessary.

I finally cleaned out the solids and did a full water test. My FC is 15.5 and my CYA is 60. I turned down my swg to 10%. Would it be advisable to turn the swg down to 0% until the FC levels drop within range for my cya?

I would leave as is. The FC is well below SLAM level. Check it daily as it should drop some with the SWCG at that low setting.
