Lastly, be sure to use the calculator below to ensure what you are seeing might be normal evaporation loss for your area. We all know the sun/heat can take water, but the wind is a major factor. I grew up in the Vegas valley and know full well how windy it can get there at times. If you have any questions let us know.

 
. If you heated your pool during April and May and did not use a solar cover, your evaporation would have been very high.
