After a trip to the pool store my wife was looking for a new over the side pool light for our agp and was told water balance could affect the light and that modern vinyl pool liners cannot be bleached by the sun. Your opinions please this pool was bought in 2013 and has been on TFP method since two weeks after we purchased it.

Does chlorine fade liners, sure. But there is no correlation between a 3 ppm or 5 ppm FC and fading any quicker. See the threads I linked to.
