Was an Intex River Run too much for a pool?

I just bought one because of the brand and the strength. I have tried other "doughnut" floaters but they get hit by the wind or the water or whatever and they deflat. This one made for a river is best. Is it okay to put a river-run made floater into a pool?

I would rinse it off first just in case it has any yuckies on it but it should be fine.

Any idea why the other ones would not hold air? Were they getting holes in them? Are there any rough areas on your coping or tiles?

It's funny you started this thread today because I just purchased two for tubing down the river, but until then, we will use them in the pool! They had the best reviews on Amazon and seem to be as sturdy as the best "river" tubes.

I wouldn't use them to float down a river, they are pool tubes we are on our second one

We have similar "boat" for our 19m old GS. But he has decided he can swim already after a few days in with his older half brothers. ?
