Warrior Se/Dolphin 200 - starts than stops issue

I have a 5 year old Pentair Warrior SE bot that's been very reliable, works well - just a bit of normal wear and tear. I've checked the impeller, gears, treads, etc. When I start the bot, the blue light lights up, impeller runs, tread runs - for 10 seconds or so and then it stops. I've held it still, let it loose, powered off, etc. Is it possible it's a power cord issue? The power cord looks fine visually when I check the connection inside the bot, everything is locked down. I haven't removed the power cord to see if there is anything visual there. Twist connector looks fine.

Any thoughts - or is it time for a new bot? If a new bot is in my future, any recommendations for something new?

More than likely time for a new bot. That type of behavior signals a drive/impeller motor overcurrent issues which often shows up as water intrusion into the motor box. They are ridiculously expensive to replace and not serviceable in any reliable way. It’s usually half the cost of a new robot and you’ll wind up only getting a short amount of time out of it. You can continue to diagnose it - do an out of water self test, open up the motors box, etc. But I’m willing to bet it’s dying and not worth fixing.

Sorry, but 3-5 years seems to be the best these bot manufacturers can do.

Some around here like EVO robot that is sold through Marina’s Spa and Patio. There’s a whole thread about them. Stay away from Aiper …
