I'll admit I'm not a big communicator on this site but I do surf it on a regular basis(work). Being a new owner of a sand filter, switching from cart, this will be my second season opening our 3rd new pool. At work the question arose about flushing the sand filter before attaching plumbing and I'll admit I didn't have a clue. Never had a sand filter. Right to tfp and Dang, there's not one but two videos on properly doing it. No matter what, there's always an answer somewhere on here to keep ya going.

It took me about 5/6 years to make my first post here as just using the search bar had always found me the answers I needed. Tfp is an invaluable resource for sure.
