After a season of liquid chlorine, that is a no. I was warned here and heeded those warnings, however I was not yet ready to make the plunge to convert to SWG. I aint screwing with splashing bottles that have about as much chlorine in them as my tap water but enough to ruin my clothes. My issue is that I have done all my own equipment installs (have replaced everything at least once, some twice), I don't have the time, energy, knees or back to do this one. I know there are rules about who and what can be posted but I am looking to find a reputable installer in the DFW area. Not looking for the cheapest price, I am looking for someone who knows SWG (Pentair) and automation since I have an Easytouch.

Hope this post does not break any rules

Go to Pentair.com. Select Pool and Spa Resources. Select Locate a Dealer. Search on your address. Call them.

as i suspected because i have done this before. all leslies, one pinch a penny, and some random place. gonna try the random place because i already submitted requests to leslies (who charges a 60 dollar fee for service call plus a 45 gas fee) and pinch a penny did not respond.

Converting to salt isn't that difficult. Physical install is pretty easy if you have easy access to you equipment plumbing and there is space for a flow sensor and the cell. Wiring/configuring can be simple or not depending on if you have an automation system and if you have an understanding of how it works. Since you don't have the time, energy, knees or back to do this yourself (I understand I just replaced my pump and converted to salt, worst part was getting 500 lb of salt and getting it to the pool), it's the same as finding someone else to do a job.

Once it's up and running and the pool has the proper chemistry it will take a little bit of time and some testing to find what settings (run times and duty cycles) are needed to keep you pool clean and properly chlorinated. After that it's minimal effort.
