Wait times before testing

Hello,

I would like to know what is the delay to wait for before testing again after chemicals additions? I would like to wait long enough to get correct results but not too long for nothing.

is it the same delay for all the chemicals like chlorine, MA, dry acid and others?

Typically 30 minutes with pump running will disperse liquid chlorine and muriatic acid. The solid forms may take longer unless pre-dissolved and added at the return into the pool. A good brushing of the pool after addition of any chemical gets it dispersed quicker.

Solid CYA does take about 24 hours to get a reading after addition.
