Hi all
I've always loved swimming (well, took a little convincing by my dad as a child, but he used to love the sea and scuba diving & eventually got past my fear of water in my eyes!) and visited the UK coast a lot in the caravan as kids. With the advent of cheap flights to warmer European destinations, I fell in love with outdoors pools and wondered if I could do something in my own back garden...
It's been a long story (I've got a blog but don't think I can post a link here, but "myasto blog pool" in google brings it up) but in short, I had a 24ft Intex AGP in my garden about 15 years ago and it was a disaster - the heat pump wouldn't heat it, pipes leaked, it went green...
Older and wiser (ha! maybe. Maybe not) now, I'm planning on installing a smaller (approx. 4 x 2m) AGP with a counter current system and a much more powerful/efficient heater & appropriate insulation.
Have posted in the AGP section looking for advice please on a protentional bioheater set up...
Cheers all
Ross
