I was hoping my first post here would be before/after pics of the cleanup, but unfortunately I'm not that lucky.
The pool has not been opened in 5+ years so lots of work needed. We recently pulled off the safety cover and found a few sections of liner lock had fallen out. And now the liner has pulled away from the track at those spots. I tried heating the liner with a heat gun and was eventually able to work the liner up to near the coping, but was not able to get it to bend and lock back into the track. An extra set of hands might help but it was pretty difficult to work with. Is there any hope to get this back on track?
I can dig through receipts to get an actual date, but I believe the liner to be around 8-10 years old with almost all of that time being under a safety cover.
