Hi guys! I screwed up last week and left my salt cell on too long. I was trying to get my chlorine up to 5 from 3 for the winter and accidentally got it up to 16 (which at 8% only took 36 hours). Here I am about 5 days later, and my FC and TC are at 14. The salt cell has been off for those 5 days. I use the taylor kit. The water temp is 59 degrees at the moment. I have to have the leaf cover on because my neighbor's huge oak tree is dumping so many leaves everywhere. I have an 11k gallon salt pool 16x28 with pebble finish... just completed in June. My TA is at 60, hardness is 250, CYA is at 40. My pH is currently at 6.8. I have turned the bubbler on to help raise the pH a little. The pump is vsp and runs 24 hours a day. I'm a little worried the chlorine isn't dropping. Will this damage my pool? And how do I get it to lower faster? We do have some rain coming tomorrow with colder temps.

Won't hurt anything. The rain will dilute. Your pH at 6.8 can cause issues.
