Very green lagoon style pool - helping friend learn TFPC and getting control ...

6pm tonight. Got a bit darker due to tons of brushing. Worked a lot of stuff loose. But you can totally see the difference at the walls. Getting there.

Lots of bleach in reserve too.

Every time I look at your pics those stairs bother me. I know it's not a high priority right now, but is that dirt, algae, staining, or what? It makes me wonder about what we can't see. I wouldn't say anything if you were a newbie....

that bleach isn't out in the sun, right?

Correct, the bleach is stored in a box, away from the sun. I think what you're seeing on the stairs is texture, and some of the leftover paint from years gone by. The spa has the same thing. It's worn away. Is that what you're talking about?

Okie-doke. We'll blame my OCD then. Phew!

Like I said, I wouldn't have mentioned it if I hadn't known you'd been around the block a few times. A newbie might have taken my question as critical.

You are really making a difference for your friends. Kudos!

Looks good this morning. Can just make out the brush in the shallow end on bottom. Only needed one gallon of bleach this morning so consumption is dropping off.

Here's a close up of the top step too. Just dirt staining and worn paint.

Only as it drops off but the level this morning was at 13 so I brought it to 17. I'll check it two more times today. I have a busy day today myself.

The darkness in the back is just shade.
