Hi -- I'm in my second year of pool ownership (gunite, in-ground with vanishing edge and spa) and so far so good. But I just tried vacuuming today for the first time this year, pulling water through the vacuum tube via a skimmer, and a minute into the job, I see cloudy water emerging from the water jets!? It was as though I was pulling sediment from the deep end of the pool and spraying it right back into the pool. I left the vaccuum stationary in the water for a couple minutes to see if it would clear up and it did -- and then when I resumed vacuuming, the water out of the jets was okay! It seemed really strange.
Is there something weird I could have done priming the vacuum hose or something -- any suggestions what could have been going on?

I can't help but wonder if the filter is overwhelmed. Can you share a full set of water test results? That would be the best place for us to start.
