Vacuuming an Intex Pool

You guys , I live in mi and it’s only hot 2 months of the year. Dont want to spend too much on a pool that I purchased used . But the skimmer doesn’t work and I don’t know where to put the hose. Outlet/ inlet. Confusing. For vacuuming. Nothing fits adapaters and iron from well water , it’s just a mess

Hey Nina I have this part but the hose for the vacuum doesn’t fit it. And the previous owner has it on the part where the clean water flows out ? When u vacuum shouldn’t u suck in the dirty water ?
