Our Hot Tub was delivered at the same time we were getting a new roof.

As a result some of the granuals from the shingles made their way into the hot tub.

Its below freezing here now so I can’t drain the hot tub.

what’s the best way to clean the debris from the bottom of the hot tub?

Start a siphon with a hose and quickly suck out the material. Then refill and heat it up.

Brainstorming here ---------

I have the Grit Gitter and that works okay for small amounts of stuff. You just have to make sure the finicky flap valves are installed correctly, they had fallen out when I got mine, I saw a number of reviews that seemed to indicate the flap valves were not installed.

I use a fine mesh aquarium net for scooping- they’re about 3$ @ the Walmart. For the really fine stuff a fluffy microfiber cloth may do the trick. Those are all I usually need for any sediment that finds its way in. I had zero luck w/ the turkey baster.
