Vacation for 2 weeks, what setting on the SWG?

Leaving for 2 week vacation and first time pool owner. Been reading various threads on the subject, suggesting getting a tab floater for the pool during that time.

Right now I have my SWG at 50%, pump running 24/7 and maintaining FC around 5-7 (CYA at 50).

Should I just bump up the SWG to something higher, like 60 or 70%, let the FC go up with the cover on for 2 weeks? Or do the tab floater thing too?

What kind of cover? There is not one mentioned in your signature. Also SWCG, what do you have?

Your current settings are adding 6.5 ppm FC per day to your pool. That is really high for a pool with a cover. I assume the cover is open a lot during daylight now. If so, if the cover is closed while you are gone, no need to increase SWCG output.

thanks. Yes I pretty much open the cover daily, plus I have a couple of baja ledge bubblers going all the time.
