V-Green EVO 2.25 HP Pump Not Always Starting

I installed a V-Green EVO 2.25 HP pump back in May. Recently I noticed the pump doesn't always start when power is applied. The green light on the pump's controller illuminates, but the pump doesn't start as expected. It is clearly getting power as evidenced by the green light. Simply recycling power starts the motor. This sporadic failure to start correctly every time power is applied makes simple power-on automation unreliable. Has anyone experienced this sporadic failure to start issue with this motor?

Sounds like a flaky motor drive. Let's see if @1poolman1 has any ideas.
Because of the very low starting torque of a VSP, there may be something jamming the impeller. The motor, on the first attempt, may move enough to clear it but the drive doesn't sense proper movement and won't run the motor until the next power cycle. Have seen that a couple of times.
If it isn't that, hopefully it is still under warranty and can be replaced as it does sound like the drive in that case. If the motor is new enough, I'd just try to get a warranty replacement, just to be sure.
