V-Green 165 motor Fault status error preventing motor to start

Hello,
I just purchased a brand new V-Green 165 (ECM16SQU) pool motor and I can't get the motor to start. The Fault status light is constantly on preventing it to start. Everything looks to be connected properly. According to the manual, it seems to be a controller fault. I looked at the possible causes in the user manual and can't figure out why the motor will not start. Any thoughts on what the issue is?
