Using nichless pool lights. Conduit size and expert advice needed.

Hey pool experts. I'm looking for advice on pre planning a conduit run for my pool lights.

If I go the nicheless led route would it be wise to use the same 1 1/2 inch pvc for the entire run back to the pump house that I've used for my returns?

Can it be a straight run or do I require a deck box and standard 3/4 conduit?

All my trenches are dug and making sure all my bases are covered before I go any further with my build.

Cheers Tommy.

You should transition the 1.5" pipe to 3/4" or 1” conduit running into a pool light junction box.

What does the installation manual for the lights show?

Check Canada codes as they can be different to what we understand in the US.

I haven't narrowed down the light I'm going to use just yet. But leaning towards nicheless lights.

Is there a requirement for how far away the pool light junction box can be placed ?

I'll have to call an electrician buddy to see what Canadian code requires.

Thanks for the help this forum is full of so many knowledgeable and helpful people.
