Using 2 sand filters

Hey folks, had an intex pool with combination SWG & sand filter, pool frame rusted out after 2 years, bought another same size, 12 x 24 x 52. New pool sand filter doesn’t have SWG. New pool has dual suction outlets, since I already have the old pump with SWG, was thinking about hooking up both old & new to run together, any pros or cons

If one is capable of filtering and circulating the water, you’re just wasting energy using two.

The dual suction outlets is a safety feature to equalize pressure so nobody gets sucked in / stuck to either outlet.
