I live in South Carolina and keep the pool open all year. I have only been Using the SWG and we’re beginning to have temperatures below 60°. Should I now begin using the chlorine feeder, liquid chlorine or do something else until spring.

Paul,

I try to use my SWCG as long as possible... Most cells shut off, or quit making chlorine, when the water temp gets below about 55 degrees..

When this happens for me, I switch over to Liquid chlorine.. Once the water gets in the low 50's, it does not take a lot of Liquid Chlorine to maintain your FC in your target range.

Thanks,

Jim R.
