Use of Speedstirrer

I see many members like the speed stirrer. Is the purpose to place the graduated cylinder on the speed stirrer and insert the stirring bar in it. Then just count drops as you add rather than "mixing by swirling the cylinder" after each drop? I just want to be sure I know how to use it properly before I purchase it. Thanks.

That is the correct usage. It mixes for you as you add drops and does so better than just swirling. Leads to more accurate test results and simplifies the process.

Yes. The speed stir does the swirling for you, way faster than could ever be done by hand. And it lights it up if doing the test in the dark or low light conditions.

Be sure to measure the sample size before adding the stir bar.
