Under ground fixup pool-Gilroy, CA

KG-Simba here. Lives in a small town, Gilroy, CA an hour from San Francisco.
Have a underground pool and wanted to know if to cover it for winter or not? I have noticed lot of dirty from a busy street, trees close by and I thought to cover it even though Leslie Pool company had told me no need.
What's your advise?

Welcome to the forum.
In Gilroy you should maintain the pool chemistry and keep the pool clean throughout the winter. You can cover it if you like, but be careful as you likely do not have a proper winter cover.

Hi mknauss- Thank you for quick response. Will just do what you said but will just get simple blue tarp from Home Depot to cover it from dust and trees debris from surroundings. Thanks again- KG

Be careful with that tarp. Any person or animal falls or gets on it, they are dead.
