B_V, first thing that would help ... please update your signature with all of your pool info and equipment. Is your pool salt? That would explain the higher CYA. If not, then the reason your water is looking cloudy could very well be lack of bleach (chlorine) and algae is starting. Yes, the storms were wicked yesterday, but your water should still be clear. According to the TFP
Pool School - Chlorine / CYA Chart, a bleach pool with a CYA of 80 should have its FC in the 9-11 range and never below 6. Otherwise ..... algae. If I were you, I'd lower the pH right away to about 7.2, then about 15 minutes after adding the muriatic acid, hit the pool with some regular bleach of your choice. I like HEB's regular Bravo, but use what you have and increase the FC to about 12 for today. Try to keep the FC elevated like that and see what it looks like tomorrow. Maybe it just needs a kick in the shorts. If the water is still cloudy tomorrow, maintain that FC and do an overnight test.
Pool School - Perform the Overnight FC Loss Test (OCLT)
That will be the final judge. Other than that, your numbers looked pretty good, so I think the low FC is what's getting you right now.

Also, if you're using chlorine tablets, pull them out ASAP. They increase CYA like crazy.
