Hello, We just purchased the a 12' x 22' Bestway pool from Costco. The U-shaped supports have white end caps on them however in the instructions, it doesn't look like the end caps are on the brace when they're installed? Most of the videos I've seen show the U-Supports with the end caps on so I assume they should stay on but I'm curious if/what purpose the end caps serve?

I don't see the end caps in random online pics, so I'm not sure. 
Was this one of the videos you saw? The only thing I can think of if perhaps they are shipping caps designed to keep the inside of the support clean and clear of any junk prior to assembly. Maybe @kellyfair has dealt with this before?

Ours fit into the top rails with them on. So we left them. Tbh, im not 100% sure if right or wrong, but no issues so far with leaving them on.
