Two speed pump high speed not working

Pool Pals:

I have a 2 speed Century/AO Smith pump that must be 10 years old. The low speed is working just fine. The high speed seems to trip some kind of safety or internal breaker when it fires up to help with my pool sweep. The sweep has a booster too. Now, I always run on low speed anyway for my filter needs, but kick the high speed on during the hour I run the sweep. The pool is really clean so no problem, but any idea what the repair would be here? Replace pump? Are there parts that can be replaced?

May not be the same situation as yours, but below was my experience.
