Two Little Dippers

Stupid chemistry question:

On the fas dpd test.
When I add 2 dippers of R0870 I have difficulty getting the powder to dissolve. Is it supposed to dissolve completely?
I end up with some powdery residue in my sample.
My powder expires 07/21 so I’m not sure if it’s bad.
Am I doing something wrong

I ordered a speed stir but haven’t received it yet.

No. Not all of the powder needs to dissolve. The powder is actually a mix of several chemicals one of which dissolves slowly and may not completely dissolve. It’s supposed to do that. It’s ok.
