Just finished SLAMM process for pool and it looks great. Want advice on where I maybe went wrong. I thought I was doing a good job testing everyday and using Pool Math. Pool was replastered in May (Pebbletec). My average numbers were FC 3-4, CC- 0 PH 7.2 TA 110 CH 360 CYA 45, pool temp 87. Running VSP pump 7 hours. 1 1/2 hours high, 2 hours med and 3 1/2 hours low.

Your chlorine has been too low. With your CYA level 45 you round up to 50, which means your Chlorine needs to target between six and eight, and never ever ever allowed to go below 8.

Thanks for the quick replies, I think in my mind I was still at the CYA of 30 since it took a while to get it up. I will for sure keep it up, do you do the same in the winter, I live in Southern CA.
