Trying to determine what HP motor this is.

As long as the total hp is 1.65, the motor should be fine.

You may want to look for a variable speed pool pump with energy star rating. Many electric companies offer $300+ rebates on these and many can be had for $5-600 so abut the same cost after rebate

So I went with the Century 1.65. After taking the old pump off this is what we saw on the bottom! Don’t understand that.,,had some issues with the wiring..kept shutting off after a few seconds and tripping breakers. Turns out you have to be VERY careful about where that arrow is pointing on the 230 or 115. We knew it was 230 but that pointer was off by a bit. Plugged it back in and all is good. Saved about $300 doing it with my son. Thanks for everyone’s input!
