I'm not 100% convinced that the valve is being operated correctly.
Assuming the valve is being set correctly. You likely have a refrigerant leak.
A diagnostic service call will probably be over $100.00.
Finding and fixing the leak and then recharging is likely to be more expensive than it’s worth.
You can call for a service call if you like, but I wouldn’t put any significant money into the unit.
Maybe try a recharge to see how if that can give you another year or so. If the pressure is zero or very low, the leak is probably too bad.
If the refrigerant pressure is just below the trip point, a recharge might be worthwhile.
