Hi, I just got a new home and I am a first time pool owner. I’m trying to figure out this salt cell that keeps flashing green and red between good and low on the salt level. The flow is also a solid red. How do a fix it? Is there a handle I need to turn on one of the pipes?

Is your pump on and working? Do you have VS pump? if so what RPM are you running it at? Have you tested your salt levels? Ideal range is 3400 PPM.
Pump is on and working. It is a variable speed pump. I have it running at 2200 rpm. The salt levels are low at 2000 and I'm in the process of adding more salt. I'm just concerned because the flow LED light is red. So I just want to make sure everything is flowing correctly before I add the salt.

I've cleaned by DE filter already. Should I try cleaning the salt cell?

No. If the flow is not sufficient to close the flow switch, nothing works on the Intellichlor.
Do you have good flow from the returns in the pool?

I see the flow returning on one corner of my pool. Not sure where the others are. However, I did get my pool from green to completely blue again, so I think my filters/flow would be working decently.

Check the valving at the equipment pad to be sure they are set to flow through the SWCG.
Regardless, until you have enough flow to close the flow switch, the cell will not work. If you did not follow the
SLAM Process to clear the pool, I suspect your filter is plugging with algae..

When the cell starts up, it tests the salt level in the pool water. While it is doing this, the red and green salt lights will flash back and forth like a railroad crossing.. This is normal and will happen at start up and then every 12 hours..
But.... If you have no flow, the cell can't ever complete the salt tests.
The first thing to fix is the flow.. Either you have flow or you don't. If you stick your hand in front of a pool return, you should feel a good flow of water. Do you???
It is possible that your flow switch in the cell has broken. It would not hurt to take the cell out and inspect it.. The flow switch is just a flexible piece of metal that moves with the water flow and closes a switch.
If you turned a green pool blue, then my guess is your filter is very dirty, unless you cleaned it after your green to blue effort..
When you turned your pool from green to blue did you use Floc or Clarifier???
Before you go crazy and to get things running now, you should just turn the speed of your pump up 200 RPM and see what happens.
