Trouble interpreting water test results before a SLAM

I’d like to start a SLAM tonight since my water was green at opening yesterday. I added some liquid CYA to increase the CYA to 30 awhile ago and need to know what else to add. I’m having trouble interpreting my TA and PH test results and could use some advice. When testing TA, sample turned clear after 4 drops and pink/red after 5 drops. Does this mean that TA is 40 or 50? If it is likely 50, do I need to increase it with baking soda and what is the ideal level? I’m also having trouble interpreting PH because my collection tube is a bit discolored. When I pour the liquid into a clear tube and compare to to the colors on the ph tube, it looks like it is 7.6 or possibly 7.5 but it looks higher in the actual ph tube which is discolored. Is there a PH test that I could buy in the future that is easier to interpret? Since I cannot tell for certain what the PH actually is, could I start the slam without lowering the PH so I don’t lower the TA any more?

"Continue adding drops until the color changes to something more or less red, pink, yellow, or clear."
So TA sounds to be 50. Leave it until after the SLAM is done.
The pH, you can order another K1000 kit. For now, leave it.
Start the SLAM.
