Mine demanded to know why I hadn't already replaced it. She knew nothing about the nitty gritty. All she knew was she liked the feel of the salt, and we had zero of the problems that everyone else had with their pools.

Yep. The second response from my wife after worrying about swimming was to state the obvious … “well, the pool needs chlorine to stay clean, right? So why are we discussing this?”
I'm lucky- my wife does a lot of the pool chores. She loves having the SWG- no more jugs of chlorine to deal with. On a side note when we first got a vac (Kreepy Krauly) she was thrilled she didn't have to argue who's turn is it to vac. The best marital aid I've seen.
