Trichlor tabs while on vacation

This is my first year with a pool and I have used liquid chlorine all summer. I am trying to determine if I can add Trichlor tabs for a week while I’m on vacation to prevent my chlorine from going to zero? Thanks!

That’s what I did. Juiced to the upper limit of your chlorine range with LC and some tabs to slow down the loss.

Should not be an issue at all assuming your CYA is not already really high.

Sure, do it myself. I planned early, knowing my CYA degrade rate. Let my CYA fall to 30. Took 6 tabs till I got back. I put 3 before leaving, and my neighbor added 3 more a few days before I got back. FC stayed 4.5 to 5.0 entire time.
