Too cold to run SWG?

According to my phone, it's 48 degrees outside. Is it too cold to run the generator?

Yeah, probably. SWGs vary in when they'll work in cooler water but most need at least 60 degrees or so. So best bet is to go with liquid chlorine until then

They work off of Water temperature and not Air temperature..

If your water temp is below 59 degrees most SWCGs will not work...

Thanks for the info! Pool water if 50 right now. Wish I had known it was going to be THIS cold today. Someone please call Mother Nature and tell her to get off her rear!

Not sure which SWG you have but I think most will automatically shut off when the water gets to cold.
