I’m in the final stages of setting up my equipment pad. I just started planning for bonding connections to my equipment, and it hit me that the Siemens transfer switch / disconnect does not have a bonding lug. Under normal circumstances, it would not need one, so I wouldn't expect it to have one. It is obviously connected to ground, and I understand that through connections in the motor, etc. the ground and bond are implicitly connected, but wondered how Article 680 treats this sort of thing. Should I order a bond lug, remove a bit of paint, and install it? Picture below in case it helps you visualize things. 390E88FF-6580-4BE1-8FA1-B84A2F5EE2C4.jpeg

The transfer switch should not need to be connected to the bonding grid. But it is always best to check with your local electrical inspector as his interpretation of your local codes rules.
