Tips needed! Struggling with removing, cleaning, drying, and folding up the pool's safety cover.

Removing, cleaning, drying, and folding up the oversized safety cover by myself is kicking my rear. Usually, part of it falls into the pool while I am trying to remove it. My deck is not as large as the cover so I have to fold it and clean parts of it at a time. Same thing with drying it.


Any tips or tricks? Most of my friends can't help because they are older than I am! Don't want anyone to have a heart attack. Thanks.

It really is a 2 person job.

My cover is pulled out of the pool and folded onto itself. No cleaning. It gets stuffed into its mesh bag which is left standing vertical as water drains and it dries. When dry it goes into the garage. Been doing it that way for 20 years.

Twice the cover as real grungy and I spead the cover out on my driveway. hosed it off and scrubbed it with a broom, let it dry on the driveway, then folded it up[ and bagged it.
