Do u mind sharing your PoolMath logs? Switch the toggle to sharing in settings. So we may be able to help you figure it out.
Also do u have any pics of the damage?

cells were replaced by cmp manufacturer of this sj but warranty falls off after 3 yrs. would like to avoid problem not able to send pictures looks like corrosion from oxidation only no rust just eaten away do not keep logs water always in balance pool used daily during season pump runs 24-7 to keep up, should have bought larger cell. use liquid chlorine to shock rarely?

Without logs, it's difficult to see if "water always in balance". I see you have been a member since 2009. Have you always used TFP recommended levels? You may wish to consider using PoolMath to track your levels. If you don't want to use the subscription for PoolMath, you should be writing down your tests so you have historical data. How often do you test? How old are your testing reagents?
