So I checked the chlorine in my pool today since we recently had a bunch of rain. Big surprise, I have none! Go check the hayward unit and it says salt 0 and check cell. I check salt and I have 3400ppm. So I know I have salt. I tried to reset the unit and salt still stays at zero. I really hope the cell didn’t fail after 4 years. But it could have. Any thoughts on the 0 reading. I’m going to clean the cell when my wife gets back from the pool store getting chlorine and acid. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thank you all for the help. Unfortunately there are no places here that I can bring the cell To have it tested. Leslie‘s says they do it but their tester is not working at the moment. So I guess I’m going to try to figure it out myself. I cleaned it and salt is still reading zero and the check cell light is on and low salt. Thanks again for your help!
