Thermistor ?

My neighbor has a Hayward Swim Pure T-15.
When he replaced the cell, the genaeric recorded 4900ppm Salt while the Taylor K-1766 showed 3600ppm. The lights indicated everthing was working and it was really generating Chlorine. He could cut the production down by 30% from the previous OME cell.

Today I noticed that none of the lights were on but the display was working fine
4900

2.3
0.0
100p

AL-0
r1.40
(both directions)

If I turned it off and back on, the flow light would come on red for 15 seconds and then go out and NO power or generating light would come on.

Does this seem like a thermistor issue?

Thanks

Probably a bad thermistor. The high amps probably contributed to the failure of the thermistor.

If the amps are 8.0 or higher after you replace the thermistor, you're going to have to reduce the salinity.

I would use this one:

This one is more heavy duty, but it's harder to solder.

The first one has easy bend legs. The second one has stiff legs and they don't fit the older holes.
