Our pool was opened for the first time 3 days ago (new build last August) and thanks to your awesome advice, this is what it looks like! (See reply below with pics.). My PB did the opening and closing, but I took care of the chemical balancing with the TFP method. Now if it wasn’t 55 with 30 mph wind gusts here in Michigan I’d be jumping right in! :love:

+1. Opening to such a clean pool just saved you $300 at the pool store. Every few weeks when you DON’T need to go there will be similar savings. Just sayin. 😁
